Mr. Rico is delighted to join the vibrant educational community here in Guangzhou. He brings over eighteen years of teaching and leadership experience in education, spanning the UK, China, and Vietnam.
His teaching philosophy is built on three core pillars: that every child matters, that a growth mindset is essential for success, and that learning is a lifelong journey. This translates into a classroom and school environment where every student is seen, valued, and challenged to reach their potential. He believes in creating the conditions for a growth mindset to flourish, encouraging students to view challenges not as obstacles, but as opportunities to develop resilience and intelligence.
Ultimately, his goal is to contribute to a school that is a true community where students feel safe and supported, where teachers are empowered and valued, and where parents are trusted partners in their children's education.
