Dear BIS Families,

As we move into the final weeks of the school year, our campus continues to be filled with celebration, creativity, reflection, and excitement. It is hard to believe how quickly this year has passed, and what an incredible year it has been for our entire BIS community.

This week, we were proud to showcase the talents and creativity of our students during our Art Exhibition. The work displayed reflected not only artistic skill, but also confidence, imagination, and growth. Thank you to all of the families who attended and supported our young artists.

Our Secondary Celebrations of Learning were another highlight of the week. Students had the opportunity to share their achievements, projects, and learning journeys with pride and enthusiasm. It is always inspiring to see the depth of learning taking place across our school and the confidence our students develop when reflecting on their progress.

The House Competition is also nearing its exciting conclusion. Students have shown tremendous teamwork, spirit, and determination throughout the year, and the competition remains very close. The winning house will soon earn a well-deserved pizza party celebration, and we look forward to announcing the final results soon.

Graduation preparations are now complete, and we are eagerly anticipating these meaningful celebrations for our students and families. Invitations will be sent shortly, and we cannot wait to honor the achievements, growth, and memories of our graduating students.

I would also like to thank the parents who joined our recent Coffee Chat focused on supporting children through “big feelings.” It was a thoughtful and meaningful discussion, and we truly value the partnership between home and school as we work together to support the emotional wellbeing of our students.

In the coming weeks, students will also enjoy several exciting field trips and end-of-year activities. These experiences are an important part of building community, creating memories, and celebrating a successful school year together.

Please note that examinations will begin next week for our secondary students. We encourage students to prepare carefully, maintain healthy routines, and approach their assessments with confidence. Our teachers are continuing to provide support and guidance as students finish the year strong.

As we approach the end of the academic year, I want to sincerely thank our students, staff, and families for making this such a positive, supportive, and successful year at BIS. The growth we have seen academically, socially, and emotionally across our school community has been truly remarkable.
