Dear BIS Families,

This week has been a particularly engaging and meaningful one at BIS, as we had the pleasure of hosting four parent events focused on supporting smooth and successful transitions from year to year. It was wonderful to connect with so many of you and to share what lies ahead for your children as they continue their journey with us. These moments of partnership between home and school are essential, and we truly value your involvement.

During these sessions, we were also excited to introduce our new Britannia Arts and Design Academy, which will officially launch for secondary students in the next academic year. This initiative represents an important step forward in expanding opportunities for our students, allowing them to explore creative passions while developing skills that align with future university pathways. Toward the end of this school year, students will have the opportunity to sample a variety of academy classes, helping them make informed choices about their interests.

As part of our continued commitment to preparing students for life beyond BIS, we are also developing strong university partnerships that will support clear and purposeful pathways to higher education. We look forward to sharing more details about these exciting developments at our upcoming open forum during the May 13th Coffee Chat.

In the meantime, the energy on campus continues to build as we prepare for one of our most anticipated celebrations of the year, International Day on April 25th. Our students are incredibly excited, and we are very much looking forward to welcoming all of you to what promises to be a vibrant and joyful event.

Finally, a gentle reminder to all families: consistent reading is one of the most impactful ways to support your child’s academic growth. Please ensure your child is completing 20 minutes of reading each evening as part of their homework routine.
