Mr. Stuart has 11 years' full-time teaching experience, including three years' teaching in France and the rest of his time was spent teaching in the United Kingdom. He has taught in a variety of schools, including independent schools and grammar schools, as well as homeschooling for Ultra High Net Worth families.

His educational philosophy reflects Matthew Arnold's perspective on education, which views it as an encounter with the 'best that has been thought and said' . This gives both the teacher and student their dignity as they encounter what has been thought, said and accomplished as they help to prepare the future, both individually and collectively.

Plus Ultra is a Latin phrase that means, loosely, 'Still further' . The joy of knowledge is that it is never exhausted and there is always more to learn and master. Each teacher and student is a link in a chain that goes back centuries and will go on for centuries. It is a privilege to be in that chain and to venture yet further in this brief life.
