Six years of teaching experience, with a dual academic background in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (M.A.) and Tea Science. Holder of multiple professional certifications including Chinese Language Teaching Qualification, International Chinese Language Teaching Certificate, and Senior Tea Art Specialist. Possess extensive experience in international Chinese language education both domestically and overseas.
Previously served as a Chinese language teacher at the Confucius Institute in New Zealand, delivering Chinese language classes and Chinese culture workshops across local primary and secondary schools. Upon returning to China, worked at a school for children of expatriates, teaching Chinese to both native and non-native speaking students at primary and secondary levels, while developing distinctive Chinese culture curriculum courses. Also served as a PYP Chinese teacher and homeroom teacher at an IB World School, leading integrated courses combining Chinese language arts, inquiry-based learning, and SEL (Social Emotional Learning). Guided students in literary competitions and graduation portfolio exhibitions, and was recognized as the school's Outstanding Teacher. Holds official IB PYP Category 1 training certification. Passionate about education, international languages, and cross-cultural exchange.
