Mr. Henry has 4 years of teaching experience, including 2 years in China and 2 years in the UK. He has taught at a post-16 college in Manchester equipping students with the mathematical skills they need for their future endeavours. And he has also taught in a variety of secondary schools, refining his teaching practice and gaining a deep understanding of all aspects of the curriculum.

Mr. Henry strives to ensure every student can strive the right balance between student-led, teacher-led, and collaborative approaches. There is no reason why a lesson cannot be informative and engaging.

Educational experiences that are contextualised, engaging, and student-influenced lead to deeper learning and in turn foster critical thinking.

Learning is a dialectical process, likewise so is teaching. Teachers need to be open minded, self critical and always willing to improve their practice - this will ensure students gain these invaluable skills for themselves.
