Dear BIS Families,
It has been another exciting week at BIS, full of student engagement, school spirit, and learning!
Charity Disco for Ming’s Family
Our younger students had a fantastic time at the second disco, held to support Ming and his family. The energy was high, and it was wonderful to see our students enjoying themselves for such a meaningful cause. We will announce the final tally of funds raised in next week’s newsletter.
Canteen Menu Now Student-Led
We are thrilled to share that our canteen menu is now designed by students! Every day, students vote on what they like and what they would prefer not to see again. This new system has made lunchtime more enjoyable, and we have noticed much happier students as a result.
House Teams & Athletics Day
Our houses have been assigned, and students are enthusiastically practicing for our upcoming Athletics Day. School spirit is soaring as students create chants and cheer for their house teams, fostering a strong sense of community and friendly competition.
Professional Development for Staff
On Friday, our teachers and staff participated in professional development sessions focused on safety, safeguarding, PowerSchool, and MAP Testing. These sessions help ensure our school continues to provide a safe, effective, and supportive learning environment for all students.

Y1 Reading Book Camp Day: November 18
Student-Led Cultural Day (Secondary): November 18
