Dear BIS Families,
What a week it’s been at BIS! Even though the first week of March has been wet and rainy, our school has been buzzing with energy, laughter, and learning. Rain or shine, there is always something amazing happening here!
We are so excited to welcome new members to our BIS community. It’s been wonderful to see them settling into their classes, making friends, and becoming part of our vibrant school family. We are thrilled to have you join us!
One of the highlights of this week was our EYFS Passion Projects. It was truly inspiring to watch our youngest learners step up and share their favorite things with such confidence, enthusiasm, and clarity. From talking about hobbies to personal interests, they showed us just how much their English speaking skills and confidence have grown. Their curiosity, creativity, and courage in presenting were incredible to see, and we are so very proud of them.
Looking ahead, please remember to sign up for our BIS Coffee Chat and Student-Led Conferences. The Coffee Chat is a great way to connect, share ideas, and hear the latest news from our school. The Student-Led Conferences give your children the chance to take the spotlight and celebrate their learning. It’s always inspiring to see students explain what they’ve learned, set goals, and reflect on their progress. It’s truly a special moment for both students and parents.
The excitement doesn’t stop there! Our Battle of the Books is about to kick off, and the energy around school is already building. Students are getting ready to dive into their reading, share ideas, and compete with their friends in this fun and friendly challenge. I’m personally excited to join a team too! It’s going to be amazing to see the creativity, teamwork, and competitive spirit in action!
I hope this weekend you all get a chance to relax, recharge, and maybe even pick up a good book to join in the Battle of the Books fun at home.
Thank you, as always, for your support, enthusiasm, and partnership!
Warm regards,
Michelle James
