Dear BIS Families,

This week at BIS has been filled with wonderful moments of growth, celebration, and learning across our school.

I would like to begin by recognizing the amazing progress shown by our Year 3 Tigers in their behavior and positive choices. Their commitment to being respectful, responsible, and kind members of our community is clearly visible, and they are setting a strong example for their peers. We are very proud of their efforts and the maturity they are demonstrating each day.

We also had the pleasure of presenting RazKids awards to our top readers. These students have shown outstanding dedication to developing their literacy skills and a genuine love of reading. Celebrating reading success is always a highlight, and we encourage all families to continue supporting reading at home as it plays such an important role in academic growth.

In EYFS, our Reception students are enthusiastically exploring space and are busy creating impressive replicas of the universe. Their curiosity and creativity have been inspiring to watch. Please take a moment to ask your children about the planets, their knowledge will truly amaze you and spark some wonderful conversations at home.

Looking ahead, excitement is building as we prepare for our Chinese New Year celebrations, which will be a joyful opportunity to learn about culture and traditions as a school community. We are also eagerly anticipating our upcoming Battle of the Books competition, where students will showcase their teamwork, comprehension, and passion for reading.
