Dear BIS Community,

What an incredible week we have had at BIS! Our Athletics Day was truly a highlight for our EYFS, Primary, and Secondary students. The energy, excitement, and school spirit were felt by everyone on the field. It was wonderful to see students and teachers competing side by side in their Houses, laughing, encouraging one another, and demonstrating what teamwork and good sportsmanship truly look like. We all love to win but we were reminded that the most important victory is showing kindness, respect, and integrity in all that we do. A big thanks to everyone who made this event such an enjoyable experience, teachers, staff, and parent volunteers, it was an amazing effort by the entire BIS community.

This week, our Secondary faculty also hosted a very informative A-Level Night. Families gained valuable insights into how Cambridge examinations are conducted, how the courses are structured, and how we support our learners throughout their academic journey. Thank you to our dedicated teachers for helping parents better understand this important stage of learning.

Our canteen continues to be a big hit! Students are especially enjoying the opportunity to vote daily on the menu. Of course, some dishes are more popular than others, but the joy comes from students feeling heard and having a voice in shaping their school experience.

As we look ahead, we have several important events on the horizon: Exams, MAP Testing, Experience Week, and our much-anticipated Annual Winter Concert. Please ensure that students are well rested and prepared, especially as we move into exam season.

Report cards and exam results will be available when we return from the Winter Break and the Parent & Student Conference evening times will be announced.
