Dear BIS Families,
We hope this message finds everyone safe and well after the recent typhoon. We know many of our families were affected, and we are grateful for the resilience and support within our community during the unexpected school closures.
Our BIS Library Newsletter will be shared with you shortly, with updates on exciting new resources, reading challenges, and opportunities for parent and student engagement.
We are very proud to share that BIS has begun the exciting and monumental journey of becoming an accredited CIS (Council of International Schools) school. This process ensures that our school meets rigorous international standards in teaching, learning, governance, and community engagement. Accreditation will strengthen BIS’s global recognition and affirm our commitment to excellence in education for every student.
Looking ahead, we have a busy and joyful season of learning and celebration:
September 30 – Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration
October 1–8 – National Holiday (no school)
October 9 – Students return to school
October 10 – EYFS Celebration of Learning for Reception classes
October – Book Fair, Grandparents Tea Invitational, Character Dress-Up Days, BIS Coffee Chat #2, and many other fun and educational activities
We look forward to celebrating these special events with you and continuing to grow together as a strong BIS community.
Warm regards,
Michelle James
