Dear BIS Families,

What a wonderful week we have had at BIS! Spirit Week was an amazing success, and it was such a joy to see the children so excited, engaged, and proud to be part of our school community. The energy, smiles, and enthusiasm throughout the week were a lovely reminder of how special our BIS community is when we come together to celebrate, connect, and have fun.

Our Book Fair was another tremendous success! Thanks to the enthusiasm and support of our families and students, our school library was awarded RMB 2,000 worth of books. This is such a wonderful addition to our library and a meaningful investment in our students’ love of reading. Thank you to everyone who supported the fair and helped make it such a success. Every new book opens the door to another adventure, discovery, or opportunity to learn!

And the excitement doesn’t stop here! We are already looking forward to more celebrations next week, while preparations are also underway for our BIS Sports Day in November. We look forward to bringing our students together through teamwork, healthy competition, perseverance, and school spirit. These shared experiences are an important part of building friendships, confidence, and a strong sense of belonging.

One of the most exciting moments next week will be the presentation of our very first BIS Good Citizen Awards. We are incredibly proud to introduce this initiative, which recognizes students who make a positive difference in our community through kindness, respect, responsibility, inclusion, and standing up for what is right. We want our students to understand that being a good citizen is not simply about following rules; it is about the choices we make every day and the way we treat the people around us. We are excited to celebrate those students who lead by example and help make BIS a welcoming, caring, and supportive place for everyone.

A school is a community built through shared experiences, small acts of kindness, curiosity, encouragement, and the memories we create together. Thank you, as always, for your continued support and partnership in making BIS such a vibrant and caring place for our children to grow and thrive.
