Dear BIS Community,

Thank you to all the parents who joined us for this week’s BIS Coffee Chat hosted by Ms. Zanie. She shared valuable insights on Raz Kids and Benchmark assessments, and we are excited to welcome her back at the next Coffee Chat where she will focus on phonics instruction. We deeply appreciate her dedication to supporting both our students and our parent community.

Our students are also hard at work preparing for Athletics Day, and we look forward to seeing everyone come out to cheer them on next week. Each morning, our campus is filled with joy and energy thanks to our Morning Music initiative—such a positive way to begin the day. Additionally, our Year 1 students enjoyed a wonderful Reading Book Camp with Ms. Zanie as we continue to build a strong love of reading from the earliest years.

As we approach the end of the term, we have MAP testing, exams, and many important events ahead. We kindly remind all families that it is essential for students to be in school every day and on time. Tardiness disrupts learning for the entire class, and frequent absences have a significant impact on your child’s academic progress. We ask for your cooperation in ensuring consistent attendance so that we can all model shared expectations and provide the best learning environment for every student.

We are also very excited for our Winter Concert on December 12. The children are practicing enthusiastically, and we look forward to celebrating their hard work and talents with you.
