Dear BIS Families,

We have had another fantastic week here at BIS, filled with meaningful learning experiences and strong connections across our community.

Our recent Coffee Chat was both productive and insightful. It provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen communication between school and home, ensuring we continue to support each child’s unique needs with care and intention. Thank you to all parents who joined us and contributed to the discussion.

A reminder that students should continue reading their selected books in preparation for our upcoming Battle of the Books. This is a wonderful opportunity to build a love of reading while engaging in a bit of friendly competition.

Last weekend, a group of our mathematics students proudly represented BIS at the Hong Kong Maths Competition. Accompanied by Mr. Henry and Mr. Jason, they demonstrated both confidence and commitment. We are very proud of their efforts and the way they represented our school.

Our Student-Led Conferences were a tremendous success. It was inspiring to see students take ownership of their learning, confidently sharing their progress and achievements with their parents. These moments truly highlight the power of student voice and leadership in education.

Looking ahead to next week:

Tuesday: Yearbook photos will be taken. All students must be in full school uniform.

Friday: We are excited to welcome a visiting author to BIS, offering students a unique opportunity to engage with literature in an inspiring way.
