Here’s a look at what’s happening around school this week:

STEAM Students and VEX Projects
Our STEAM students have been busy diving into their VEX projects! They are working collaboratively to develop problem-solving skills and creativity. We can’t wait to see their projects in action.

Football Teams Forming
Our school football teams are starting to take shape! We’ll be sharing more details soon about practice schedules. It’s a great time for students to get involved and show their school spirit.

New After-School Activities (ASA) Offerings
We’re thrilled to announce some new After-School Activity (ASA) offerings for the fall! From arts and crafts to coding and sports, there’s something for every student. Keep an eye out for the upcoming ASA sign-up forms so your child can explore new interests after school.

Student Council Elections
It’s election week for our Student Council! Candidates have been campaigning, and we are excited to see our students take on leadership roles in our school community. Be sure to check out the results next week. There’s a lot of enthusiasm surrounding the upcoming student leadership team!

Book Fair – October 22-24
Mark your calendars! Our annual Book Fair will be taking place from October 22-24. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to explore new books, and a great way to support the school library. We encourage all families to stop by and check out the selection.

Grandparents Invitational Tea – October 28 at 9 AM
We’re excited to invite our grandparents to a special Grandparents Invitational Tea on October 28 at 9 AM. Please RSVP through Student Services to ensure we can accommodate everyone. We look forward to celebrating our wonderful grandparents and their special role in our community.

BIS Coffee Chat – Thank You!
A big thank you to everyone who joined us for our latest BIS Coffee Chat! We had a great turnout, and the discussions were incredibly valuable. Your feedback and involvement are so important to us, and we look forward to seeing even more of you at future events. We encourage all parents to join us for the next one!

A Reminder About Respect and Kindness
As a community, it’s important that we treat everyone with respect and dignity. Our office staff works diligently every day to help run our school and attend to the needs of everyone in this community. It is my expectation that everyone is treated with kindness and spoken to in a polite manner at all times. As role models for our children, we must set a positive example, demonstrating the values of kindness and respect in all our interactions. Let’s continue to be mindful of how we speak and act, both within the school and beyond.
