Dear BIS Families,

Welcome back! We hope you and your family had a wonderful holiday break and were able to enjoy some quality time together.

We are thrilled to have launched our After-School Activities Program, and it’s been fantastic to see so many students excited to engage in a variety of new activities. Whether it’s sports, arts, or STEM, there’s something for every student to explore! We look forward to seeing continued enthusiasm as the program unfolds.

Our in-school clubs have gotten off to an amazing start! Students are already enjoying their time together, connecting with peers who share their interests, and exploring new passions. It’s been great to watch them discover talents and build friendships along the way.

Our Reception classes recently hosted a wonderful Celebration of Learning event, where students proudly showcased the work they’ve been doing. It was a heartwarming experience for both the children and their families to come together and celebrate their accomplishments. We are so proud of our young learners and their hard work!

Looking ahead, we have some exciting events to share with you:

Our First Annual Book Fair will take place from October 22 to 24! This is a fantastic opportunity to explore new books and find something special for your child. Stay tuned for more details on how you can get involved.

Our monthly BIS Coffee Chat will be held on October 15 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. This month’s topic is Digital Wellbeing—a crucial conversation on how we can help our children navigate the digital world in a balanced and healthy way. We invite all parents to join us for coffee, conversation, and valuable insights.

We are also excited to announce our First Grandparent Invitational Tea! Grandparents will be invited to join us for tea and snacks with their grandchildren. It promises to be a heartwarming occasion for families to share special moments together. More details will be shared soon, so please keep an eye out for invitations.

As few quick reminders: Regular school attendance is essential for academic success, please inform us as soon as possible if your child will be absent. Students should arrive to school on time daily. Tardiness is a disruption to the learning environment for the whole community.

Please also take a moment to ensure your child is dressed according to our uniform policy.
